These terms cover your use of Before at getinbefore.com and in the Before app. By using Before you agree to them.

What Before does

Before suggests companies to approach, matches news and job ads to them, and writes messages for you to send. You decide who to contact and what to send. Before never contacts companies or shares your CV for you.

No guarantee of a job

Before is a tool to help your search. We can't guarantee interviews, offers or a job. Company lists, news, job ads and messages can be incomplete or wrong, so check anything before you act on it.

Subscriptions

  • Before costs $49 a month, with the first 7 days free, or $119 every 3 months.
  • People who joined the waitlist before launch get a code for $39 a month for their first 12 months (then $49 a month), or $99 for their first 3 months (then $119 every 3 months). Codes must be redeemed by the date in the launch email.
  • There's no contract. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are billed and managed by Apple under their terms.
  • Members of the Middle East Career Accelerator get Before as part of their membership, for as long as they're a member.

The delivery promise

If Before doesn't deliver your hit list within 24 hours, news on your companies every weekday, or messages for every company on your list, tell us through support and we'll credit that month, or the equivalent part of a 3-month plan.

Using Before fairly

  • Use Before for your own job search. Don't share your account or resell what it produces.
  • Don't use it to spam people. Send messages one at a time, from your own accounts.
  • Don't try to copy, scrape or break the service.

Your content

Your CV and the messages written for you are yours. You give us permission to process them only to run Before for you, as set out in our privacy policy.

Our liability

Before is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the last three months.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before significant changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai.
